Unbelievable feeling says goal hero

York City midfielder Michael Potts described it as an "unbelievable feeling" after scoring twice on his first full appearance of the season at Rochdale.

"I couldn't believe my luck when I got two" - Michael Potts
The 21-year-old was making only his third-ever league start for the club following the early return of on loan Danny Kearns to Peterborough United. And he celebrated it in true style by helping the visitors towards their first win in eight games.

"I couldn't believe my luck when I got two - it was an unbelievable feeling," a delighted Potts admitted to The Press. "For the first, Jamal [Fyfield] showed all game that he has great pace and puts balls in areas where you just have to get into.

"The ball hit me in the face first of all but luckily I reacted before they did to put it in the net," he added. "For the second, there were two defenders on the line but luckily my shot had enough pace to hit the back of the net."
