Narrow defeat for reserves

York City went down to a 1-0 defeat against a strong Scunthorpe United reserves side at Glanford Park on Tuesday afternoon.

The hosts included first-teamers Sam Slocombe, Callum Kennedy, Robbie Gibbons, Damien Mozika, Adda Djeziri, Mike Grella and Paul Reid.

American former Leeds United striker Grella eventually broke the deadlock on 75 minutes from close-range.
