Grecians wary of York threat

Weekend visitors Exeter City are remaining wary of forthcoming opponents York City despite winning their last four games on the road.

"We are going to have to be at our very best to get a result" - Paul Tisdale
The Grecians' task has been made even more difficult by the loss of their suspended leading goalscorer Jamie Cureton after being sent-off in their latest 1-0 victory at Wycombe Wanderers. The 37-year-old veteran has to date netted fifteen times this season - including ten away from home.

Prior to that game Exeter had already taken a couple of notable scalps during wins at Rochdale (3-2), leaders Gillingham (3-2) and play-off challengers Bradford City (1-0).

"It is a game we are well aware we are going to have to be at our very best to get a result," manager Paul Tisdale told This is Exeter. "They have come up from the league below and been very competitive.

"I was impressed at how well-organised they were [at St James's Park earlier this season] and they have had some good results along the way," he continued. "And if you add that we have got a long journey up there on the Friday, it is going to be difficult."
