Forward Alex Rodman will be remaining at York City until the end of the season but manager Gary Mills is still on the hunt for another attacking player.

"We will be without Ashley Chambers for four to six weeks and probably won't see Michael Coulson again this season" - Gary Mills
The Minstermen are currently without the services of both Ashley Chambers and Michael Coulson due to injury while the also sidelined Oli Johnson has failed to have any real involvement since arriving at the club last summer.

Mills has therefore extended Rodman's stay for the rest of the campaign after making eight appearances following his recruitment from Aldershot Town in November. The 25-year-old has netted once for the club to date but also had the misfortune of conceding an own-goal during the disappointing weekend defeat to Exeter City.

"We've taken Alex Rodman until the end of the season," Mills told The Press. "We are in a situation where we will be without Ashley Chambers for four to six weeks and probably won't see Michael Coulson again this season.

"Oli Johnson will be back in training and has got to start giving us something now because he's given us nothing yet due to being injured," he continued. "John McReady will also play in a game tomorrow night but I need to bring in another wide striker because we are short in that area at the moment."

York are hosting Northallerton Town in the North Riding Senior Cup quarter-finals at Bootham Crescent tomorrow evening (kick-off 7.45pm).
