Former York City midfielder Andre Boucaud is on the verge of leaving Luton Town in favour of joining League One Notts County.

"We have come to an agreement and now it's just down to Andre and his representatives to thrash out personal terms" - Keith Curle
The Magpies have agreed a fee with the Conference promotion-chasers for the 28-year-old Trinidad & Tobago international who left the Minstermen twelve months ago following 42 appearances and one goal at Bootham Crescent.

Boucaud has already been on loan at Meadow Lane this season while scoring once in 23 appearances. He has previously spent time at Kettering Town, Wycombe Wanderers, Aldershot Town and Peterborough United after originally beginning his career as a trainee at Reading.

"We have come to an agreement and now it's just down to Andre and his representatives to thrash out personal terms," County manager Keith Curle told This is Nottingham. "Then hopefully we will be able to welcome Andre on board as a full-time member of the squad."

Meanwhile, Curle is also keen on signing St Johnstone striker Craig Beattie, who is currently training with the club.
