Former York City midfielder Adriano Moké has been released by Conference outfit Cambridge United by mutual consent.

The Portuguese-born schemer failed to sufficiently establish himself at the Abbey Stadium following his departure from York only last summer.

The 22-year-old has instead spent the last couple of months making nine appearances whilst on loan at Tamworth.

Cambridge have also allowed defender Michael Wylde to leave, while winger Robbie Willmott has joined Newport County after making 98 appearances in two spells for the club.
