Search goes on for Mills

York City manager Gary Mills is still working towards adding to his squad during the January transfer window.

The Minstermen are currently looking rather short of attacking options with top scorer Ashley Chambers, Michael Coulson and Oli Johnson all ruled out of action through injury.

Meanwhile, Mills has this week transfer-listed out-of-favour Jamie Reed at his own request, while chief goal-hope Jason Walker has netted only seven times in 31 games this season. The York boss has though at least extended on loan Alex Rodman's deal until the end of the campaign.

"I'm doing everything I can to get more players in, but if I can't, then I'm happy with the squad that I've got," Mills told BBC Radio York. "I've got some players coming in for a trial next week. They'll play in a friendly against Sunderland and hopefully they'll be what we're looking for."
