'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Give it a Shot!

Issue number seventeen of matchday programme 'The Citizen' goes on sale at this weekend's clash between York City and Aldershot Town at Bootham Crescent.

There's a special interview with first-team coach Des Lyttle while returning midfielder John McReady lines-up in the regular 'Me And The Game' feature. Additional contributions are provided from the likes of manager Gary Mills and skipper Chris Smith, plus, amongst others, youth coach Steve Torpey, BBC Radio York's Barry Parker and club historian David Batters, courtesy of '80 Years At The Crescent' and 'City Captains' - this time with controversial figure Barry Swallow.

Five pages are especially dedicated to the visitors, including an 'Away Fan's View' provided by Shots follower Craig Matthews, and there's also the latest 'City Fan Abroad' and 'Face In The Crowd' competition and, as always, plenty more besides.

Available from the usual selling points around the ground at 3.
