No distraction for visitors

On loan striker Alex Rodman doesn't believe parent club Aldershot Town will be distracted by their forthcoming FA Cup fourth round tie when visiting York City this weekend.

"With the greatest respect to Middlesbrough, it's not a stellar tie" - Alex Rodman
The Shots are due to take on Championship promotion-chasers Middlesbrough at the Riverside in just eight days time but Rodman, who is ineligible to face his Hampshire employers this weekend, expects they will remain totally focused at Bootham Crescent. The 25-year-old actually played for Aldershot against Manchester United in the Carling Cup only last season.

"Aldershot have always had good cup runs," he told The Press. "The game's a week away still and they've also got to play Northampton after us next week. With the greatest respect to Middlesbrough, because they are doing well in the Championship, it's not a stellar tie either. They're not a Manchester United.

"With that match last season, people were looking forward to it and thinking about it weeks and weeks before," Rodman continued. "Going to Middlesbrough won't be the same."
