York City's home game with Aldershot Town appears set to go ahead after passing a morning pitch inspection at Bootham Crescent.

The playing surface has been covered ever since Monday and is ruled as currently playable subject to the removal of lying snow.

As such, match referee Trevor Kettle is to make a further check on the situation at 12 noon.

Only two other games have survived the freeze so far in League Two, Northampton Town v Burton Albion and Wycombe Wanderers v Dagenham & Redbridge.
