Duo could still head out

Transfer-listed duo Lee Bullock and Jamie Reed could still be on their way out of York City before the end of the season.

Both were recently made available at their own request but found no movement during the January transfer window.

Experienced Stockton-born midfielder Bullock, 31, has managed only a couple of starts since returning for a second spell at the club last summer, while 25-year-old striker Reed has fared little better in terms of regular opportunities this term.

"Both players have expressed that they want to get out and play games," manager Gary Mills told The Press. "That's a difficult situation for a manager when that`s the case. I could stop them going anywhere but I want total commitment to York City. If players want to go then it's maybe for the best that they do."

Meanwhile, Mills was expected to again add to his squad when the loan window re-opens later this week, with Newcastle United midfielder Michael Richardson, 20, a possible target following a recent four-game spell at Leyton Orient.

"He's someone we've been looking at and have shown a bit of interest in but I don't know whether it will happen," he added.
