Out-of-favour York City striker Jamie Reed has joined Conference side Cambridge United on loan until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has largely been restricted to appearances from the bench this term but has still managed to find the net four times in seventeen games.

He originally joined the Minstermen from Welsh Premier League side Bangor City a couple of years ago after earlier spells at Tamworth and Wrexham.

Reed will therefore linked up with another former City striker at the Abbey Stadium in Michael Gash, who has already scored thirteen times
this season, including seven in his last nine games.
