'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Newcomer can tame Dutch master

York City boss Gary Mills believes new loan signing John McGrath can prevail in midfield when coming up against Barnet's Dutch legend Edgar Davids tomorrow afternoon.

"I want Edgar Davids to worry about John McGrath because he was excellent for us the other night" - Gary Mills
The 32-year-old made an impressive debut for the Minstermen in their vastly-improved midweek draw with second-placed Gillingham despite finding little competitive action whilst at Burton Albion this season.

And this weekend the combative Irishman can expect to face up to the 74-times capped Barnet head coach who has already starred during his hugely illustrious playing career for the likes of Ajax, Inter, Barcelona, Juventus and Milan.

"I don't want to worry about him," Mills told The Press. "I want Edgar Davids to worry about John McGrath because he was excellent for us the other night. I respect him big-time as a player for what he's done in the game, but it won't be about our medals tomorrow."
