Barnet head coach Edgar Davids was not surprisingly celebrating what he termed an "ugly win" at York City.

"I'm very pleased and sometimes you have to win ugly" - Edgar Davids
The Bees fought back from a goal behind to eventually take the honours 2-1 at Bootham Crescent, despite finishing the game with only nine-men following an unfortunate late collision between substitute Bondz N'Gala and Jon Nurse.

"I'm very pleased and sometimes you have to win ugly," Davids told the Hendon and Potters Bar Times. "We didn't start sharply but after that first ten minutes we controlled the half.

"We didn't control the second half but we showed character," the former Dutch international continued. "At the end of the game we had to hold on to the three points with just nine men. But we did it and it was brilliant."
