York City boss Gary Mills welcomed both the result and the performance as the visitors held Oxford United to a 0-0 draw at the Kassam Stadium.

But at least their six-point safety margin over the drop-zone was maintained - although most of their rivals still have one game in hand and both Aldershot Town and AFC Wimbledon gained on them.
"I thought we were excellent today. It was a battle away from home," Mills told BBC Radio York. "I think both teams obviously wanted to go and win the game but it was a battle a lot in the middle of the park. I'm delighted with a clean sheet, I'm delighted with a point and we go home with some points on the table for us after a disappointing result last week so onwards and upwards. We keep going."
Next up for York are two big Yorkshire derbies this week against Rotherham United and League Cup finalists Bradford City.
