York seek ruthless streak

York City must develop a more ruthless streak to their performances according to manager Nigel Worthington.

"We have just got to get back to scoring twos, threes and fours like we were doing a few weeks ago" - Nigel Worthington
A fifth draw in their last six league games at Burton Albion leaves his side still precariously placed just a couple of points off the bottom of the table.

The Minstermen host League Two leaders Oxford United this weekend before a couple of crucial away trips to fellow strugglers Accrington Stanley and Bury ends their year.

"We are resilient and hard to beat at the moment and we have just got to get back to scoring twos, threes and fours like we were doing a few weeks ago," Worthington told The Press. "But, as long as we give good honest performances, I can live with that and the rest will come."
