Wembley hero leaves City
York City winger Ashley Chambers has signed for Conference Premier title-hopefuls Cambridge United.

Chambers moved to York on loan from Leicester City in November 2010 and completed a permanent switch the following summer.
He went on to score 23 times in 111 appearances for the Minstermen, most famously a superb half-volley in their memorable play-off final victory over Luton at Wembley in May 2012.
However, Chambers has since fallen out-of-favour under manager Nigel Worthington this season, while being restricted to eighteen appearances and is still looking for his first goal of the campaign.
"We are delighted to have signed a player of Ashley`s pedigree and quality," director of football Jez George told Cambridge's official website. "We have worked really hard to make this happen once we knew that York City were willing to allow him to leave on a free transfer.
"He will be an exciting player for our fans to watch and a really good addition to our squad for the second half of the season and hopefully beyond."
