York City boss Nigel Worthington insists his side must step up their challenge going into their play-off semi-final second-leg at Fleetwood Town on Friday evening.

Former favourite Matty Blair settled the first game in the visitors' favour and Worthington acknowledges there will need to be a significant improvement in the return for the Minstermen to make a fifth Wembley appearance in five years.
"You've got to step into that arena and go and play, we were a few light and made it hard work for ourselves and the players have got to learn from that," he told SkySports
. "There's a show to put on, go and join in with it, step forward and have a go. You're better having a go and maybe losing the game than safety first.
"Big games demand people that need to stand up and be counted and we were one or two light in the first half and you can't have that, we were second best all over the park," Worthington added. "But second half we were the York of old and it's important we start like that on Friday. I'm very much looking forward to it."
