York City manager Nigel Worthington has released six players and offered deals to two more.

Striker Calvin Andrew, midfielder Adam Reed and defender Tom Allan, who all appeared in their play-off semi-final defeat to Fleetwood Town, are all leaving Bootham Crescent. Teenager Allan was offered improved terms but didn't respond and this has now been withdrawn, although City would be entitled to compensation.

Those are joined in the departure lounge by Estonian international winger Sander Puri and forward duo Chris Dickinson and Shaquille McDonald.

However, newly-crowned 'Clubman of the Year' Lanre Oyebanjo and Michael Coulson are both offered fresh terms.
