Former York City striker Richard Brodie is amongst eleven players released by Gary Mills at Conference Premier outfit Gateshead.

The 26-year-old spent much of last season on loan at Hereford United and Southport and managed only four goals in 33 appearances for his trio of clubs.

Another former York marksman, Adam Boyes, also appears on the released list and has since joined Guiseley following a successful loan spell with 15 goals in 24 games last term.

Also departing the International Stadium are Joe Tait, Carl Magnay, Luke O'Brien, Jordan Holt, Ryan Noble, Jack Lester, Colin Larkin, Josh Walker and Liam Hatch - who has since returned to former club Darlington.
