York City boss Nigel Worthington still wants to recruit another couple of new players before the start of the season.

"We've pretty much got the people that we want" - Nigel Worthington
The Minstermen yesterday completed their sixth signing of the summer in former Shrewsbury Town centre-back Dave Winfield - but are ready to add to that.

"I would like another one, maybe two," Worthington told The Press. "It's about getting the right balance.

"We've pretty much got the people that we want and those that were to go from the club have gone," he added. "Now we're building on top of the group of last year."

Goalkeeper Jason Mooney (Tranmere Rovers), full-backs Marvin McCoy (Wycombe Wanderers) and Femi Ilesanmi (Dagenham & Redbridge), winger Anthony Straker (Southend United), and striker Jake Hyde (Barnet) are their other newcomers.
