Former York City winger Adriano Moke has joined Conference Premier side Macclesfield Town.

That follows him being released by Stockport County after 25 games for the Conference North outfit last season.

The 24-year-old originally started out with Nottingham Forest until arriving at Bootham Crescent via the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain.

Moke managed 28 appearances and scored three times for the Minstermen during their glorious double-winning season of 2011-12 before moving on to Cambridge United - and in turn Tamworth and FC Halifax Town.

He now joins the Silkmen having set-up their winning goal while included as a trialist against Crewe Alexandra earlier this week.
