Minstermites chase cup reward

Minstermites chase cup reward

York City's Under-18s host Harrogate Railway this evening in the FA Youth Cup second qualifying round (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Minstermites welcome back attacking duo Ryan Edmondson and Aaron Haswell, both involved with the first-team squad at the weekend, having missed their latest defeat to Lincoln City.

Steve Torpey's young prospects have already hit a combined nine goals without conceding during the opening two rounds of the competition.

They thrashed neighbours Harrogate Town 5-0 last month with Edmondson and Haswell both on the scoresheet alongside Zac Lawrence, Harry Thompson and substitute Flynn McNaughton.

Prior to that York overcame Tadcaster Albion 4-0 courtesy of a couple more goals from Haswell, Josh Berry and an Owen Marshall own-goal.

Admission for the game is £3 Adults and £1 Concessions.
