Leamington game goes ahead

Leamington game goes ahead

York City's visit to Leamington on Saturday-week goes ahead after their forthcoming opponents were knocked out of the FA Cup last evening.

Goals from Nathan Jarman and Bradley Wells were enough to secure Gainsborough Trinity a 2-0 victory in their third qualifying round replay. They next visit Harrogate Town, who twenty-four hours earlier overcame Bradford Park Avenue by the same scoreline.

Similarly progressing are Scarborough Athletic, with former York duo Michael Coulson and Craig Nelthorpe on target in a 4-1 extra-time victory at Stratford Town. Coulson has already scored fifteen goals this season while including a first senior hat-trick.

Boro next welcome Hyde United, who are currently twenty-three games unbeaten under the leadership of ex-City defender Darren Kelly.
