Striker signs for City

Striker James Gray has joined York City on a permanent deal from National League strugglers Torquay United.

The former Northern Ireland Under-21 international originally arrived on loan last month and has since featured three times.

However, the 25-year-old ex-Accrington Stanley marksman has now agreed a deal with the Minstermen until the end of the season.

He also numbers Glenavon, Southport, Wrexham, Kettering Town and Darlington amongst his former clubs.
