Audio: The Night Pair Before Christmas

There was unsurprisingly precious little festive cheer in the Christmas Eve edition of York City supporters' podcast 'Shooting Towards The Shippo'.

Regular hosts Simon Pattinson and Alan Brown were certainly pulling no punches in their hardest-hitting programme yet, with few individuals at the club escaping heavy criticism.

The enraged pair reflect on a simply horrendous week at Bootham Crescent, both on and off the pitch; one that had begun with the controversial dismissal of a long-time club volunteer, and was ended by yet another totally abject weekend performance.

But Aidan Connolly restored the home advantage with seventeen minutes remaining, although that was swiftly matched by Andrew Johnson as the honours were eventually shared.
