York City's youth-team recorded a fourth successive victory after overcoming Lincoln City 1-0 in the EFL Youth Alliance on Saturday.

Defender Jake Watson scored the only goal of the contest as the home side took maximum points.

The Minstermites had already recorded earlier triumphs against Burton Albion (A 2-1), Doncaster Rovers (A 1-0) and Scunthorpe United (H 2-0).

Steve Torpey's youngsters are next scheduled to visit Mansfield Town in seven days time for the first of three consecutive away trips, with Notts County and Oldham Athletic also on the immediate radar.
