Former striker leaves Blades

Former York City loan striker Jake Wright has returned to Harrogate Town until the end of the season after permanently departing Sheffield United.

The 21-year-old arrives on a free transfer but with an accompanying sell-on clause should he leave the CNG Stadium for a fee.

Wright managed only a couple of appearances during an earlier loan spell there, before suffering injury and returning to his parent club.

He also includes previous loans with Southport and Gateshead, plus one goal in seven games for York last season.
